About Arnaud Lambert Clos Mazurique

Arnaud Lambert Clos Mazurique is an organic, barrel-aged red wine made by Arnaud Lambert using Cabernet Franc grapes in the AOC Saumur-Champigny denomination in the Loire region of France.
 
Arnaud Lambert is a family winery owned by the winegrower of the same name in the heart of the Loire. Precise, pure and elegant wines that demonstrate with style and pride the character of the Saumur denomination. Although this talented winemaker has no more than 30 hectares of vineyards, the truth is that the terroirs where his wines are made are highly prized. 
 
Arnaud Lambert Clos Mazurique comes from vines with an average age of 25 years old planted on the Loire’s sandy loam and limestone soils. They are cultivated using sustainable agriculture that has been certified organic since 2012 and using biodynamic treatments since 2018. Yields are limited to 45 hl/he and the harvest is carried out manually at the optimum point of ripeness. 
 
In the winery, the grapes selected to make Arnaud Lambert Clos Mazurique are vinified in stainless steel and concrete tanks, spontaneously and with native yeasts.
 
Arnaud Lambert Clos Mazurique is a wine with the typical character of the Loireregion. A surprising cuvée that is sweet from the first sip with a spicy background on the finish.
