To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Avelino Vegas' birth, his family has crafted a red wine that honours his memory and his passion for wine. A creation that not only bears his signature but embodies his visionary spirit and love for the land.
 
Founded in 1950 in Santiuste de San Juan Bautista, the Avelino Vegas winery has thrived with a commitment to preserving the essence of its origins. From its inception, its founder understood that the greatness of a wine begins in the vineyard and is perfected in the winery. Today, with the third generation at the helm, this tradition remains alive in every bottle.
 
Avelino Vegas 100 Aniversario is a single-vineyard red wine crafted under the D.O. Ribera del Duero, using tempranillo grapes sourced from old vineyards over 80 years old, located in La Aguilera, Burgos. Hand-harvested and treated with the utmost respect, its production process combines cutting-edge technology with inherited wisdom. Fermentation takes place in inverted conical tanks designed by the winery itself, followed by ageing in French oak barrels with extra-fine grain and ovoid concrete tanks, where the wine reaches its maximum expression and elegance.
 
Every glass of this wine transports you to the heart of the Ribera del Duero, where the terroir is revealed in a powerful and refined structure. Perfect for accompanying grand moments and celebrations, Avelino Vegas 100 Aniversario is more than a tribute: it is proof that time, when dedicated to excellence, becomes eternity.
