As it opens up, it reveals nuances of vineyard peach and barely ripe pineapple, as if summer were pouring into the glass. About Balma Reserva Brut Nature

Balma Reserva Brut Nature is a cava from the appellation of origin (D.O) Penedès produced by the winery Mas Bertram located in Sant Martí Sarroca (Barcelona).

Balma Reserva Brut Nature is produced from the varietals Xarel-lo, Macabeo and Perellada. The graped originate from old vines of about 40 years old.

During production, the grape is first destemmed and put though a selection process. After which, it is fermented in steel tanks at a temperature of 14-15ºC for 45 days.

Once finished with the vinification process, Balma Reserva Brut Nature is aged for 24 months on its lees.

2016

Balma Reserva Brut Nature 2016 exhibits a pale yellow hue with fine and persistent bubbles. On the nose, it stands out for its clarity and high intensity, evoking aromas of lemon peel, apple, peach, and quince, with a hint of toasted bread adding complexity. On the palate, it feels fresh with a well-balanced acidity. The bubbles are finely integrated, offering a honeyed and creamy texture that makes it particularly pleasing to the palate.                      
2012 On the palate, pleasant and fresh and passing to a smooth unctuous flavour. Very good acidity. Long finish with citric notes.

Pale yellow with green reflections.

Very aromatic with a predominance of citric and white fruits with sweet and vegetable over tones.
