About Barón de Ley Blanco

Barón de Ley Blanco is a white wine from the DOCa Rioja, crafted by the Barón de Ley winery located in Mendavia (Navarra). It was established in the 1980s with the aim of marketing wines of a classic style.

They own over 400 hectares of vineyards situated in various areas of the DOCa Rioja, thus allowing different grape varieties to adapt to the microclimates of the denomination, ranging from Alavesa to Rioja Baja.

Barón de Ley Blanco originates from several vineyard regions where the main grape varieties are tempranillo, viura, and garnacha.

The vinification of Barón de Ley Blanco takes place in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures to preserve the aromas, with a portion of the wine undergoing a brief maceration with its lees to impart a touch of volume.
