Big Top Red Zinfandel is a red wine made with the Zinfadel variety by the Big Top Californian winery in Lodi (USA).
 
The Big Top winery is located in the warm region of Lodi in Central California, U.S.A. This wine estate grows old vines to produce fruit that is specific to the local area and that can be made into brilliant Sunshine State wines. These are great value wines that are perfect for entertaining and are sure to surprise and delight.
 
Big Top Red Zinfandel comes from old vines planted in the Lodi region, east of the San Francisco Bay, California. This is the perfect location for growing the Zinfadel variety because of the warm climate and cool breeze from the surrounding rivers. The harvest takes place at the optimum point of ripeness.
 
In the winery, the Big Top Red Zinfandel grapes are carefully selected and destemmed. Then the crushed grapes macerate and ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Finally the wine is lightly aged in oak. Before bottling it is filtered and clarified.
 
Made from a potent variety grown in a warm climate, Big Top Red Zinfandel is a very good way to enjoy an affordable Californian red wine that is full of fruit but not excessive. Balanced fruitiness.
