Campo Viejo Vendimia Seleccionada 2021 boasts an alluring deep cherry red hue. On the nose, it is distinguished by its pronounced intensity, with aromas of plums, blackberries, cherries, and blueberries, complemented by balsamic notes such as rosemary and lavender. Additionally, nuances of liquorice and a hint of menthol are perceived, alongside spices like black pepper, clove, vanilla, and cocoa, which impart elegance. On the palate, it is flavourful and easy to drink, with smooth tannins and a structured character that accentuates its concentrated profile.

About Campo Viejo Vendimia Seleccionada

Campo Viejo Vendimia Seleccionada is a red wine from the DOCa La Rioja crafted by the Campo Viejo winery. This wine is a single-varietal made from tempranillo, the most commonly used grape in this wine-producing region.

The harvest and corresponding vinification processes are conducted using traditional methods, drawing on the expertise derived from the area's long-standing association with the wine industry. Once at the winery, the grapes for Campo Viejo Vendimia Seleccionada first undergo a destemming-crushing phase.
Subsequently, fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature of approximately 25ºC with moderate macerations lasting around two weeks. Finally, Campo Viejo Vendimia Seleccionada is aged for 18 months in American and French oak barrels.

Campo Viejo, part of the Grupo Domecq, has the privilege of producing its wines in some of the most state-of-the-art facilities available. It is undoubtedly one of the benchmarks of the DOCa La Rioja.

2019 Campo Viejo Vendimia Seleccionada 2019 is a red wine with fruity aromas on the nose, where cherries, plums, blackberries or blueberries appear accompanied by spicy and herbal notes of rosemary, mint and liquorice. On the palate it is juicy, reaffirming its fruity character with hints of vanilla, pepper and cocoa. An elegant red wine that is very pleasant to drink.
2015 Campo Viejo Vendimia Seleccionada 2015 is a mature, complex and elegant wine. This excellent vintage shows the varietal aromas with sharpness and elegance along the toasted notes of its ageing. In the mouth, it is silky, with a medium body and a long finish.
2012 With supple tannins. It boasts a fruity profile complemented by herbaceous undertones and spicy accents.
