About Celeste Crianza

Celeste Crianza is a red wine from the Ribera del Duero prepared by the Pago del Cielo winery. This winery is located in Peñafiel (Valladolid)

Celeste Crianza is 100% made from Tinto Fino (Tempranillo). The grapes come from vineyards situated at a high altitude, about 900m.

The extraordinary height at which the grapes are grown inspires the wine label; where the stars are depicted during the harvest in September, and its name: Celeste - two metaphors that suggest the proximity of this wine with the stars.

For its development, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with temperature control and aging occurs in French and American oak for about 12 months.

Celeste Crianza 2018 is a richly concentrated and opulent red. On the nose, it is delightful with scents of dark berries (blueberries), roasted coffee, and dried fruits (prunes). The palate experiences a dense and meaty texture. Exceptionally flavorful. The finish is remarkably enduring.
2012 Good entry, sweet and fruity. Good acidity and well structured. Notes of aging and smooth tannins. Long and pleasant finish.
