About Ceretto Barolo Brunate

Ceretto Barolo Brunate is an ecological, barrel-aged red wine made by the well-known Italian winery Ceretto with the Nebbiolo variety in the DOCG Barolo (Piedmont).

Founded by Riccardo Ceretto, it is a family winery that has been producing quality wines in the Langhe area of northern Italy for more than 70 years. With a wide range of wines from the best denominations, it has become a true Piedmont ambassador. Exuberant wines with international prestige.

Ceretto Barolo Brunate comes from 5 and a half hectares of vines located in the towns of La Morra and Barola at an altitude ranging between 230 and 400 metres above sea level. Organic farming is practiced and the harvest is manual when the grapes are ripe.

In the winery, Ceretto Barolo Brunate grapes undergo a stable temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Then the wine is racked in 300-litre French oak barrels for 12 months and 12 more months in 25hl barrels. It rests in the bottle for 12 months before being released for sale.

Ceretto Barolo Brunate is a wine of great international prestige, having been made in one of the world’s most sought-after terroirs. A noble and elegant, true Barolo.
2013 Ceretto Barolo Brunate 2013 is a concentrated red wine with intense aromas of violet flowers, small red fruits and balsamic notes. On the palate it is deep, vigorous and elegant. A wine with a delicious fruity flavour, notes of cinnamon and chocolate touches. Long persistence on the finish.
