About Cervoles Colors De Les Garrigues

Cervoles Colors De Les Garrigues is a red wine from the D.O. Costers del Segre, crafted by Cérvoles Celler. It is a blend of garnacha tinta, cabernet sauvignon, and merlot varieties.

The region's climate is continental, with particularly cold winters and very hot summers. The average annual temperature hovers around 14°-15°C. The grapes for Cervoles Colors De Les Garrigues are sourced from estate-owned vineyards planted in the late 1970s. The 10 plots where they are cultivated are located at altitudes between 700 and 750 metres. The harvest is conducted manually, with a meticulous selection process for the grape clusters.

The vinification of Cervoles Colors De Les Garrigues follows traditional methods, using stainless steel tanks.

Cérvoles Celler was established by the Cusinè family. The first harvest took place in 1997. A meticulous selection of grape clusters and intensive vineyard care enable the winery to produce wines of the highest quality.

Cervoles Colors De Les Garrigues 2023 is a vibrant wine. On the nose, cherry and raspberry aromas are prominent, accompanied by a refreshing balsamic touch. On the palate, it is juicy with a pleasant depth, thanks to its well-balanced maturation in oak. With a crisp finish, this wine possesses a freshness that brings a delightful tension, accentuating the fruity notes in every sip. A perfect choice to relish its lively character and fruity profile.

2013 Voluminous and balanced, tannins are well integrated. Fresh and perseverant.

In the mouth it is voluminous, balanced, with integrated tannins. Fresh and persistent. Aftertaste of lactic notes.

In nose it is intense and enjoyable. Smokiness, from aging notes appear, with notes of red and black fruits. Memories of spices such as red pepper and balsamic notes.
2008 Very good attack, which augurs a long, sweet, tasty, silky and creamy mid palate in which the wine coats the mouth with fruity notes melted with toasted and creamy aromas. Well integrated tannins and a balanced acidity. Persistent and pleasant aftertaste.

Intense and attractive cherry red colour with red edges and purple twinkles. Clean and bright wine with good dense tears.

Intense, gentle and expressive aromas with abundant notes of red fruits and smoky notes. After swirling the glass, the wine gains in expressiveness and its mineral aromas are displayed along with fragrant flowers with creamy notes of sweet spices, chocolate and milk, provided by the oak. Very pleasant and seductive nose.
2007 Flavor is light, with a correct acidity and freshness.
