Champagne Soutiran Cuvée Signature Brut Grand Cru is a dry sparkling wine (less than 6 gr/l of sugar) that is creamy and very delicate. Aromas of ripe, cooked fruit, like roasted pear, peach and hints of aniseed appear on the nose. The palate is soft and voluminous, with a silky touch. Well balanced, with saline notes and a very pleasant minerality.

About Champagne Soutiran Cuvée Signature Brut Grand Cru

The Soutiran champagne house doesn’t just keep exceptional sparkling wines. Their reserve wines, which they use to make their wines, are also a marvel. Their Champagne Soutiran Cuvée Signature Brut Grand Cru is made with some of the 2018 vintage, together with the 2013 and 2017 reserves.

Since 1950, Champagne Soutiran has been producing sparkling wines in the A.O.C. Champagne. The story began when Gérard Soutiran, a military man, returned to his parents’ home to become a winegrower and devote himself fully to the family vineyards. This decision laid the foundations for one of the most interesting and acclaimed houses, where long-aged sparkling wines (at least five years in the bottle) are produced, faithfully reflecting the terroir of this corner of northwest France. Inevitably, this means talking about the chalk and marl soils, as well as the oceanic climate with a continental influence. As for the grapes, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay will give soul to this sparkling wine. 

Champagne Soutiran Cuvée Signature Brut Grand Cru is vinified in oak barrels, where it has been aged for three years. After bottling, there are another three years in the bottle (without disgorging) and a further year of resting after removing all the lees and dead yeasts. Ideal for any type of dish or pairing, Champagne Soutiran Cuvée Signature Brut Grand Cru is an incredible sparkling wine that everyone should try (even if just once).
