About Château Mayne Lalande Listrac-Médoc

Château Mayne Lalande Listrac-Médoc is a red wine made from the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot varieties, produced by Château Mayne Lalande under the AOC Cru Bourgeois in Bordeaux, France.

The bunches the Château Mayne Lalande Listrac-Médoc wine is made with come from a plot of around 15 hectares composed of siliceous gravel and calcareous clay soils where vines with an average age of 35 years grow and are harvested manually and mechanically. On arrival at the winery, the bunches of grapes macerate for 25 days and ferment for 12 days under controlled temperatures of 8ºC. The resulting wine is vinified in a traditional way and 30% ages in new French oak barrels for a time ranging from 12 to 14 months depending on the vintage.

Bernard Lartigue, winemaker and owner of the Château, is the craftsman responsible for preserving all the values of the Médoc that have been passed down for six generations in his family. A perfectionistic, rigorous and demanding man, he produces high-level wines with the aim of showing the potential of his terroir, preserving its identity and achieving excellence like this Château Mayne Lalande Listrac-Médoc.
