About Château Puygueraud Blanc

Behind this wine, made from sauvignon blanc and sauvignon gris, is the Thienpont family, one of the great sagas of producers who make wines in several areas of Bordeaux. In the case of Château Puygueraud Blanc, led by the famous Nicolas Thienpot, it is necessary to go to the right bank of the Gironde, specifically in the Francs - Côtes de Bordeaux AOC, where this Belgian family owns 47 hectares of vineyards. These vines are planted right on a rocky plateau, with clay and limestone soils. The vines of Château Puygueraud Blanc will grow on these slopes, where calcium carbonate is abundant.

This mineral touch is what makes Château Puygueraud Blanc so special. Therefore, during its production, an effort is always made to maintain this character, working under minimum intervention and ensuring that this unique touch can be tasted when the moment of truth comes. After a manual harvest and an exhaustive selection of the bunches, Château Puygueraud Blanc is pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
