Clos du Rouge Gorge Jeunes Vignes is a natural monovarietal Grenache Tinta red wine produced by Clos du Rouge Gorge and rated as one from Côtes Catalanes. Clos du Rouge Gorge is a small winery run by Cyril Fhal. It was founded in 2002. Cyril works his 6 hectares of vineyards, which are up to 100 years old, biodynamically, without using synthetic products, and always vinifies with native yeasts according to the philosophy of minimum intervention, simply accompanying the processes and letting the grapes and the terroir express themselves fully and finely.

Clos du Rouge Gorge Jeunes Vignes is the result of vinifying the vintage of young grapes that are cultivated biodynamically. The harvest is carried out manually into small boxes to respect the wholeness of the grape as much as possible.

Once in the winery, the Clos du Rouge Gorge Jeunes Vignes harvest is infused to delicately extract the aromas and the subtlety of the grape. Lastly, once vinified, it undergoes a refining ageing of a few months in 500 litre barrels.

2017 Clos du Rouge Gorge Jeunes Vignes 2017 has a fresh nose. As it opens up, complex and delicate aromas unfold: red fruit, peppers and floral notes. On the palate it is soft, with fresh fruit and a fine and delicate grain. The wine has a subtle body and power, and its finish is clean, fresh and spicy.
