Condado de Oriza Roble 2024 dazzles with its vibrant crimson hue and purple highlights that captivate the eye. About Condado de Oriza Roble

Condado de Oriza Roble is a red wine made with the Tinta del País (Tempranillo) variety by Pagos del Rey in Olmedillo de Roa, Ribera del Duero.

The Solís family, owners of Pagos del Rey, has 70 hectares of vineyard in the area and works with some 450 farmers from whom it buys the grapes. In total it controls 1,600 hectares of vineyards, has an annual production capacity of nine million litres and has a total of 10,000 barrels.

The Condado de Oriza Roble vineyards have clay and sandy soils and are located in the area around Olmedillo de Roa, in Burgos. To prepare Condado de Oriza Roble, the best grapes are selected and a pre-fermentation maceration is performed for 2 days. Alcoholic fermentation then takes place at a controlled temperature of between 23 and 25 ºC to achieve maximum varietal expression. Lastly it is aged in American oak barrels for 6 months and then remains in the bottle for 6 months before going on the market.

Condado de Oriza Roble is a fruity wine, with a good structure and a friendly mouthfeel that make it a versatile wine, suitable for a host of occasions.
