Conde de Haro Brut Rosé 2022 is a delight encapsulated in bubbles. Its attractive salmon pink hue, both brilliant and luminous, coupled with its fine bubbles, hints at the experience awaiting upon opening. The initial pleasure greets the nose with enticing aromas of brioche and fine bakery, intermingled with enveloping notes of strawberry yogurt. About Conde de Haro Brut Rosé

Conde de Haro Brut Rosé is a sparkling wine from the DOCa Rioja produced by Bodegas Muga, renowned for being one of the few Spanish wineries with its own cooperage on-site. This is one of the most iconic wineries in Haro, a true classic. The climate in this region is highly intricate, with vineyards influenced by Mediterranean, Atlantic, and continental weather patterns.

Conde de Haro Brut Rosé is a single-varietal wine made from Garnacha grapes sourced from the winery's own vineyards, located at high altitudes on north-facing slopes. The climate in this area is quite complex, with vineyards affected by Mediterranean, Atlantic, and continental influences; hence, the choice of this location and orientation for the vineyards was not random. There is a deliberate intention to protect these vineyards from hot temperatures to ensure the grape's aromatic characteristics remain unaltered.

The harvest of Conde de Haro Brut Rosé is conducted using 15 kg boxes. Following the selection of the grape clusters, direct pressing is carried out. Subsequently, the must is transferred to 1,000-litre tanks for fermentation at 14°C. Before bottling, Conde de Haro Brut Rosé rests for 4 months on its lees before bottling and proceeding to tirage. This stage, where wine with yeasts is added, is crucial for initiating the second fermentation, which imparts those distinctive bubbles. Finally, Conde de Haro Brut Rosé will remain on the lees for 36 months before disgorgement, always at a low temperature, to preserve freshness and aromatic richness.
