Corte Armano Amarone della Valpolicella Vigneti Vallata di Marano is a red wine coupage of the Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella varieties produced by the Campagnola winery, in the Veneto region, Italy.

Corte Armano Amarone della Valpolicella Vigneti Vallata di Marano is made by the Campagnola family, historical winemakers who have worked the land for five generations and continue to showcase their passion for grapes and vines.

The grapes used to make this Corte Armano Amarone della Valpolicella Vigneti Vallata di Marano come from the “Vallata” vineyard, located in Marano, and they are harvested manually. As is customary in the traditional Amarone-making process, the grapes go through a natural drying process for about 100 days. They are then gently pressed and left to macerate with their skins for 30 days.

Drying the berries can cause them to lose 35% of their weight, which concentrates the sugars and flavours.

Following alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes a 24-month aging process with 60% in large oak barrels, known as botti, and 40% in new French Allier oak barrels for 18 months.

The Campagnola family have more than one hundred years of experience behind them, and they have produced this special Corte Armano Amarone della Valpolicella Vigneti Vallata di Marano, an Amarone that has all the qualities of a great slow-drinking wine, a wine that should be savoured at its best.

2015 Corte Armano Amarone della Valpolicella Vigneti Vallata di Marano 2015 is a deep red wine with complex notes of black fruits on the nose, that open up to sweeter aromas of vanilla, spices, tobacco and leather nuances. On the palate it is juicy, reaffirming the fruit alongside good acidity, with fine tannins and a final touch of freshness.
