CDVIN Garnacha 2025 unveils an intensity of flavours that both surprises and delights. In the glass, its deep red hue with violet reflections serves as a prelude to what awaits the palate. As it approaches the nose, notes of ripe black fruits such as blackberries and plums emerge, intertwined with subtle aromas of spices and an earthy touch thanks to its time in barrel. On the palate, one can savour its robust body, with well-structured tannins and a balanced acidity that imparts freshness. About CDVIN Garnacha

With a storyteller, someone who captivates your attention and delights you with a compelling tale. Now, replace the words with grapes and the story with vineyards, and there emerges Cuentaviñas, the personal project of Eduardo Eguren. Indeed, the name is no coincidence; here, wine is not merely "made," but each plot is cultivated with meticulous care, ensuring that every bottle possesses its own unique character.

Established in 2018, Cuentaviñas originates from three distinctive vineyards in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, La Rioja. Eduardo, the fifth generation of the Eguren family with over a decade of experience at Sierra Cantabria, combines expertise and curiosity to work in an almost biodynamic manner: using cover crops, early defoliation, and showing absolute respect for the land.

Among his ventures, Cuentaviñas Garnacha CDVIN stands out, a centenarian garnacha with Atlantic influences, nestled at the foot of the Sierra. It ferments for 32 days in French oak vats, spends 14 months in 500L barrels, and finally rests in the bottle in an 18th-century cellar.

Thus, it presents us with fresh and fleshy fruit, balanced intensity, and a wine that is eagerly consumed. Cuentaviñas Garnacha CDVIN embodies a project with character, daring, and style, where each bottle narrates the story of a vineyard tended with both intellect and passion.

Cuentaviñas Garnacha CDVIN 2022 exhibits a splendid ruby-red hue with subtle garnet highlights, indicative of its maturation in wood. On the nose, this wine astonishes with intense aromas of fresh cherry and raspberry, enveloped in a delicate veil of violets.
