Domaine de Villaine Rully 1er Cru Les Champs Cloux is an organic monovarietal Pinot Noir red wine classified as AOC Rully Premier Cru and produced by Domaine de Villaine.

Domaine de Villaine is a winery installed in Bouzeron, in the south of Beaune, between Santenay in Côte d'Or and Rully and Mercurey in Côte Chalonnaise. Its vineyards are located on slopes located in soils with a content low in organic matter and a high level of limestone. To make great wines, they have been cultivating organically since 1997, seeking to ensure that their grapes ripen optimally and are perfectly healthy.

The plot for Domaine de Villaine Rully 1er Cru Les Champs Cloux covers1.9 hectares, the vines have an average age of over 45 years and the soil is clayey and limestone. It is harvested manually so that a rigorous selection and classification of the grapes can be made while still in the vineyard.

Once in the winery, the Domaine de Villaine Rully 1er Cru Les Champs Cloux harvest macerates with the skins from 14 to 17 days during fermentation, and once the wine has been produced it is aged for 10 to 12 months. The duration of ageing and maceration will depend on the quality of the harvest.
