Domaine Vacheron Le Rosé is a single-variety Pinot Noir rosé wine produced by Domaine Vacheron in the AOC Sancerre in the Loire Valley, France.

 

The wines made at the Domaine Vacheron winery are known for their purity and definition.  Run by cousins Jean-Laurent and Jean-Dominique Vacheron, the Domaine has undergone a thorough transformation towards biodynamic agriculture. They have some of the most coveted vineyards in Sancerre, and this is where the Vacheron cousins work to bring a true Burgundy approach to their winemaking by making single-plot wines and coupages that vary from year to year.

 

No synthetic products are used in their terroir, the grape bunches are harvested by hand and the land is fertilised using compost. All of this work results in great and expressive wines that have made Domaine Vacheron one of the most prestigious wineries in Sancerre..

 

The Domaine Vacheron Le Rosé wine is made solely from Pinot Noir grapes that come from vines aged over thirty years old, growing on soils composed mainly of flint and marl. The plots lie 300 metres above sea level. An elegant, expressive and unique rosé aged on its lees.
