Domaines Lupier El Terroir 2023 offers a marvellous experience for red wine enthusiasts. This wine presents itself with an intense and brilliant ruby red hue. On the nose, it unveils a complex array of aromas, with ripe juicy cherries and black plums taking centre stage, accompanied by subtle notes of redcurrant and sweet spices. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with a perfect balance between acidity and silky tannins, providing a solid structure and a long, enveloping finish. About Domaines Lupier El Terroir

Domaines Lupier is the small winery located in San Martín de Unx, in Navarra, under the guidance of Raúl Pérez. With this gesture, the Wine Magician takes over from Elisar Ucar and his partner, Enrique Basarte, who in 2006 decided to fulfil the dream of creating a winery. Thus, Domaine Lupier was born; and thanks to this passion, the wines from this winery have managed to position themselves among the finest bottles due to their interpretation of garnacha, a version of this variety that no wine aficionado should miss.
 
After several harvests, and upon deciding to pursue a different path, both Elisa and Enrique sold the winery to Raúl Pérez, who continues this legacy rooted in 12 plots of old-vine garnacha, over 80 years old, planted at about 500 metres above sea level on varied soils, rich in limestone and sand. Here, Domaines Lupier El Terroir is born, a single-varietal garnacha that acts as the perfect lure to ensure you never want to part from this winery.
 
Domaines Lupier El Terroir is harvested manually, in small crates, and brought to the winery where the grapes are crushed. Once the harvest paste is obtained, Domaines Lupier El Terroir, with its skins, is transferred to stainless steel fermentation tanks where indigenous yeasts will begin to work spontaneously, without any inoculation. Finally, Domaines Lupier El Terroir completes its journey in used French oak barrels where it will rest for a couple of years.

Domaines Lupier El Terroir 2018 beckons us to revel in its youthful vibrancy and freshness. As one brings the glass closer to the nose, a tapestry of aromas unfolds, featuring wild cherry and strawberry scents interwoven with hints of aromatic herbs such as rosemary and thyme, complemented by a delicate nuance of fennel and spearmint. Upon tasting, its intensity does not overshadow its harmony; a lively acidity is accompanied by gentle tannins that blend with finesse on the palate. The finish is enduring, leaving a succulent impression that encourages continued enjoyment.
