Dureuil Janthial Rully Blanc 2022 dazzles with its golden hue and brilliance. About Dureuil Janthial Rully Blanc

Dureuil Janthial Rully Blanc is a single-varietal Chardonnay white wine produced by Domaine Dureuil Janthial under the AOC. Rully in Burgundy, France.

 

Dureuil Janthial Rully Blanc wine is made with bunches which come from four different plots: La Martelle, Chaponnière, La Bergerie and Le Meix Cadot located in the commune of Rully, terroirs with vines planted between 1949 and 2007 covering more than three hectares, where clay-calcareous soils predominate.

 

Harvest is carried out manually and the four plots are vinified separately. The bunches are pressed directly. The must is statically decanted 48 hours later to begin alcoholic fermentation in French oak barrels, of which 20% are for new use. The resulting wines are aged for 12 months in barrels and then go through six months of aging in stainless steel tanks. The coupage of the wines from the four plots is done at the time of bottling, which is carried out according to the lunar calendar.

 

The Domaine Dureuil Janthial is a centennial estate dating from the 13th century and currently led by Vincent Dureuil, who looks after 20 hectares of vineyards where harvest is manual and work is carried out with the utmost respect for the environment, applying biodynamic precepts. Vincent makes classic wines with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir which are flavorsome and with a beautiful minerality, such as this Dureuil Janthial Rully Blanc whose long aging process allows it to enjoy an excellent aging capacity.
