About El Novio Perfecto

El Novio Perfecto is a semi-sweet white wine made by the Compañía Vitivinícola del Mediterráneo with the Moscatel de Alejandría and Viura varieties in the D.O. Valencia.

The Compañía Vitivinícola del Mediterráneo is made up of sommelier Bruno Murciano, winemaker David Sampedro Gil and the Valsangiacomo family winery. A project set up in the heart of Valencia where the three producers have joined forces to produce attractive, bright and easy-to-drink wines.

El Novio Perfecto comes from organically grown vineyards according to biodynamic guidelines with one objective: to transmit the maximum expression of the terroir. They avoid high quantities, limiting the yield with the type of pruning and by reducing treatments. When the grape reaches optimum ripeness, it is harvested by hand.

In the winery, the two El Novio Perfecto varieties are vinified separately. While the Moscatel ferments fully, alcoholic fermentation of the Viura variety is stopped using the cold to keep the grape’s natural sugar to approximately 80 g / l.

El Novio Perfecto is a white wine that is made to drink at any time. Semi-sweet, fresh and very light, the sweetness is balanced with its acidity, making it a very inviting white.

2018 El Novio Perfecto 2018 is a semi-sweet young white wine with aromas of white fruit, stone fruit, citrus hints of grapefruit and soft floral touches of orange blossom. On the palate it is light, fruity, sweet and fresh. A low-percentage smooth wine that is easy to drink.
