About Agás do Tempo

They say patience is rewarded, and if not, just ask Felicísimo Pereira Freijido. As the fourth generation of the Freijido family and named Galicia's Best Winemaker in 2011, Felicísimo has turned waiting into an art... even though in Galicia, the rain doesn't always cooperate.

Thus was born Agás do Tempo, in the Avia Valley, where the mission is to rescue century-old vineyards, reclaim the essence of Ribeiro, and transform patience into gifts savoured in a glass.

Among his most delightful creations is Agás do Tempo, a wine that embodies this philosophy. Crafted primarily from treixadura, and enhanced with small amounts of torrontés, albariño, and loureiro, it is fresh, balanced, and elegant. The grapes are harvested by hand, with a selection process at the table, and the must ferments at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine is clarified and cold-stabilised, preserving every nuance that time—and patience under the rain—has bestowed upon these vineyards.

To drink an Agás do Tempo is to receive a gift that only patience and care can bestow. A fresh, aromatic Ribeiro full of life, reminding us that in wine and in life, the best things come in their own time.
