During Prohibition in the United States, "moonshiners" clandestinely crafted their spirits under the moonlight, concealing the smoke from their distillations in disguised jugs and containers. This rebellious spirit today inspires Engine Gin, presented in an original half-litre tin can, a modern nod to those covert methods and the ingenuity of distillers who defied the law.

Yet it's not all about history: Engine Gin also embodies Italian innovation and precision. This London Dry gin is crafted in Alta Langa, on the border between Piedmont and Liguria, following the Piedmontese tradition of rosolio—a digestif cordial with sage and lemon—and using grapes, juniper, sage, and lemon as key ingredients. Its vacuum distillation at very low temperatures using a rotary evaporator captures the essence of each botanical, creating a fresh, balanced, and remarkably aromatic spirit.
