About Espelt Mareny

Espelt Mareny is a white wine from the winery Espelt, in the D.O. Empordà.

This winery is located in the Vilajuïga, in Alt Empordà (Girona).

Espelt Mareny is a blend of the varieties Sauvignon blanc y Lledoner Blanc (Garnacha Blanca). The vineyards are planted in sandy-loam and granite soils.

For production, each variety for Espelt Mareny is produced separately. The maceration process is completed at 8ºC for 4 hours and fermented at 14ºC.

Before being bottled, the wine is filtred.

2014 Fresh and smooth on the palate. Passing in embracing, creamy and very flavoursome citrus. Acidity is very balanced. Long finish.

Straw yellow with greenish hues.

Delicate and elegant, highlights of primary aromas of citrus and stone fruit. Fine floral and spicy aromas for the base.
2013 In the mouth, it is a very appetising and unctuous wine. It has a very bulky attack, with a mid-palate marked by its creaminess and an excellent acidity which make it persistent. Very great wine, which will not disappoint anyone.

Straw yellow colour with greenish edge. Very bright.

High intensity wine in which the primary aromas stand out together with floral aromas, spices, exotic fruits and citrus fruits.

2010 Fresh and soft palate, with a good presence of fruit. Very good acidity that provides this wine with a good freshness. Good ending. A very fresh and light white wine.
