A decade ago, Aurélie Fayolle and Arnaud Geschickt decided to transform their family vineyard in Ammerschwihr, Alsace, into a model of sustainability and harmony with nature. Since then, every corner of their land has been revitalised: today, they operate under biodynamic principles, meticulously tending to every detail to restore the soil's vitality and promote biodiversity. They plant trees to enrich the ecosystem, respect natural cycles, and with the assistance of their loyal mare Iris, they minimise the impact of heavy machinery, demonstrating that a balance between tradition and innovation is indeed achievable.

Geschickt GC Kaefferkopf "Purberg" is the embodiment of this commitment. This orange wine, crafted from gewürztraminer and riesling from the Purberg plot within the prestigious grand cru Kaefferkopf, is a celebration of terroir in its purest form. Its unique process includes 30 days of skin maceration, which imparts a vibrant colour and unmistakable texture, followed by 12 months of maturation in wood, adding depth and a captivating elegance.
