About Geschickt Obi Wine

In a galaxy not so far away, specifically in Ammerschwihr, Alsace (France), a small family winery has decided to unite two worlds: biodynamic winemaking tradition and the epic universe of Star Wars. The result is Geschickt Obi Wine, a pet-nat that would bring a smile to the face of even Master Obi-Wan Kenobi himself.

Domaine Geschickt has been dedicated for over two decades to a clear mission: caring for the land and its vineyards in harmony with nature. Since 1998, they have practised biodynamic viticulture, convinced that a great wine is born from a healthy and diverse environment. Under the leadership of Arnaud Geschickt and Aurelie Fayolle, this small 4-hectare vineyard in Alsace is cultivated with profound respect for the natural cycle, planting trees to enrich biodiversity, tending the land with the help of Iris — their mare — and allowing each grape cluster to fully express the essence of its terroir.

Founded in the 1950s by Bernadette Meyer and Jérôme Geschickt, today the winery has become a benchmark for natural wines in Alsace. Alongside classics like riesling, the new generation (Arnaud Geschickt and Aurelie Fayolle) dares to create more rebellious offerings such as pet-nats and skin-contact whites.

Geschickt Obi Wine is a blend of pinot auxerrois, riesling, and muscat, a true "fruit bomb" that captures the purity of Auxerrois and the unmistakable character of the Alsatian terroir. Its natural effervescence is the result of the ancestral méthode pétillant naturel: fermentation in the bottle, without artifice, allowing the Force (or rather, the yeasts) to act in their own way.

The name is no coincidence. Geschickt Obi Wine pays homage to the wisest and most patient Jedi Master, one who understood that true power lies not in battle, but in balance. Just as Obi-Wan guided Luke, this wine guides the palate on a journey of freshness, intensity, and authenticity.
