About Geschickt Phenix

True freedom lies in being yourself, without filters or constraints. When you are completely liberated, you can express yourself naturally. This is precisely how Arnaud Geschickt and Aurelie Fayolle live and work on their family vineyard, established in the 1950s in the picturesque village of Ammerschwihr, Alsace.

Although Domaine Geschickt is renowned for its classic Alsatian wines, for the past decade, this couple has found their own voice by crafting what they call "liberated and living terroir wines." With their 4 hectares of vineyards, they view their land as a self-sustaining ecosystem, where biodiversity flourishes and sustainable practices are at the core of their philosophy. They have even integrated horse breeding into their methods, reinforcing their ecological and regenerative approach.

Among their most distinctive wines is the Geschickt Phenix, an orange wine crafted from pinot gris, blended with other white varieties from the estate, aiming to deliver a vibrant and unforgettable experience. The grapes are destemmed and macerated with their skins for 30 days, and the wine is aged in stainless steel to preserve its freshness and pure character.

With no added sulphites, this wine is a true natural expression of the terroir. Geschickt Phenix is a tribute to freedom and creativity in winemaking, perfect for those seeking something unconventional.
