Born in the historic “Golden Mile of Ribeiro” (Galicia), this white wine derives its name from the X of “viñedos eXcepcionais” which, in Galician, means exceptional; a nod to the iconic plot of “O Taboleiro” and to the uniqueness of a godello that defies the ordinary, with the strength and elegance that only an exceptional vineyard can provide.

Coto de Gomariz is more than a winery; it is a family legacy that dates back to the 10th century and has evolved through the passion of the Carreiro family, restoring the historical prestige of its vineyards and becoming a pioneer in Galician viticulture. Their philosophy blends tradition with technology, respecting the identity of the wines and committing to sustainability and the meticulous care of each plot.

Gomariz X Godello embodies this dedication. Crafted from hand-selected grapes from the “O Taboleiro” estate, grown in sábrego soils (a mix of clays and sands, characteristic of Galicia), this godello ferments with indigenous yeasts at low temperatures and rests in the bottle, refining its aromas and textures to achieve an impeccable balance. Each sip conveys freshness, smoothness, and elegance, a true reflection of the Galician terroir and the artisanal care of the winery.
