About Gran Feudo Hoya de los Lobos Rosado

Gran Feudo Hoya de los Lobos Rosado is a rosé wine from the DO. Navarra produced by Bodegas Gran Feudo. This winery is part of the viniculture project of the Chivite group.

Bodegas Gran Feudo is located in the town of Cintruenigo, in the Ribera de Navarra, at the southern end of the appellation.

Gran Feudo Hoya de los Lobos Rosado is a blend of garnacha, tempranillo, cabernet sauvignon, syrah, and merlot varieties.

For its production, the grapes undergo a brief maceration with the skins. After fermentation, the wine undergoes ageing for 6 months in stainless steel tanks on its lees, at a controlled temperature.

2024

Gran Feudo Hoya de los Lobos Rosado 2024 captivates with its striking bright pink hue that instantly invites one to savour it. On the nose, it reveals high and elegant intensity with clean aromas reminiscent of red fruits such as currants and raspberries, accompanied by delicate floral notes of white blossoms. Upon tasting, it presents as fresh and well-balanced, with a fruity character bolstered by a hint of citrus that adds vibrancy. Its texture is rounded and offers a volume that fills the palate, culminating in a long and crisp finish. This wine is commendable for its balance between freshness and complexity, as well as its ability to provide a complete and vibrant experience.
2020

Gran Feudo Edición Limitada el Idilio Rosado 2020 is a flavoursome rosé. On the nose it is intense and very fruity, with aromas of red fruit, strawberries and raspberries. The palate maintains this fruity character, with good acidity and freshness. Well balanced. Long finish with hints of strawberry.
2016 Gran Feudo Edición las Lías Rosado 2016 is a fruity and voluminous rosé wine. This vintage, along with the work with the lees, gives volume and body to this sweet and round rosé.
2014 Nice and fresh input. Good acidity, balanced, with tasty ripe fruit and light touches of citrus. Long finish.

Strawberry pink with purple hues.

Good aromatic intensity, red fruits (strawberries, raspberries, cherries) accompanied by floral and citrus notes.
2013 A fresh attack with a good balance between acidity and alcohol. A long, persistent finish with a strawberry aftertaste and a touch of citrus.

Intense and fruity. Red fruits such as raspberry, strawberry and cherry dominate.
2012 A very fleshy palate, with a dense and rich texture. Good and very lively acidity which adds depth. A long, appetising finish leaving nice, bitter notes.

Complex nose, medium-high intensity. Lots of red fruit, raspberries, redcurrents, strawberries well balanced with notes of patisserie goods, slightly spicy touches, and a nice mineral background.

2010 Rosé wine with a wide attack and a light, tasty mid palate with a good acidity and a long, dry finish that precedes a floral and mineral aftertaste.

Clean and bright, not very intense, soft raspberry pink colour.

Very aromatic and fruity wine with notes of strawberries, currants and citrus which give way to some floral hints. Very intense.
2009 Good and wide attack and a meaty, tasty and slightly oily mid palate. The fruit is still dominant but not explosive. Its balanced acidity gives it a lot of freshness and lightness. Good but not very persistent finish, with a bitter touch.
