About Hermanos Lurton Cuesta de Oro

Hermanos Lurton Cuesta de Oro is a white wine from D.O. Rueda produced by the winery El Albar Lurton. It is a single-variety wine made with Verdejo.
The grapes used to make Hermanos Lurton Cuestas de Oro come from a farm owned by the winery and that gives its name to the wine: Cuesta de Oro.
The harvest is performed entirely manually and the grapes bunches go through several selection processes.
When the grapes arrive at the winery, they are separated and subjected to pressing. Hermanos Lurton Cuesta de Oro then goes through a fermentation in new French oak barrels.
Before the ageing, Hermanos Lurton Cuesta de Oro macerated in cold for twelve hours.
Hermanos Lurton Cuesta de Oro then ages for three months in French oak barrels on its lees, with regular batonnages.
The Albar Lurton winery is part of the Spanish group of wineries, François Lurton. This renowned winemaker also makes wines in France, Argentina and Chile.
