About HMR White

HMR White is a white wine made by the Heretat Mont Rubí winery, located in the town of Font-Rubí in the north of the D.O. Penedés. 


The winery and the vineyard are situated between 520 and 700 metres above sea level. The vineyards merge with deep Mediterranean pine forests, growing alongside a wild environment with aromatic undergrowth. They make wines with native and mainly single varieties. 

The philosophy of the winery is to support traditional, sustainable viticulture, which is respectful of the environment, seeking balance between its grape strains and the environment, and at the same time incorporate new technology. In the winery, all of the production processes are designed and controlled to avoid intervention as much as possible, using minimal quantities of sulphites and using their own antioxidant lees. 

HMR White is a wine made with the Xarel.lo variety, planted on rather unproductive soils. After a maceration of the skins, it ferments at a low temperature to preserve the aromas as much as possible, and undergoes a brief ageing on its lees.

HMR White 2022 is a white wine that will enchant you with its youthfulness and vivacity. Upon the initial taste, you will experience how the zest of fresh fruit, such as green apple and pear, intermingles with citrus undertones reminiscent of lemon and lime. Allow yourself to be astonished by the subtle hints of wild herbs and a delicate thread of anise that unfolds on the palate. Its balanced acidity and a slight bitterness bestow a crisp and invigorating profile, perfect for savoring at any given moment.
2017 HMR White 2017 is a fruity white wine that is refreshing and very aromatic. Mediterranean fruits such as pear, apple or peach are mixed with white flowers such as jasmine and fennel. On the palate it is fresh, lively and lingering.
