About Jaboulet Côtes-du-Rhône Parallèle

Jaboulet Côtes-du-Rhône Parallèle 45 is a red wine made from Grenache and Syrah grapes from the AOC Côtes du Rhône produced by Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aîné.

Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aîné is a Rhone winery founded in 1834. In 2006 it was acquired by the Frey family, Champage producers who also own the Château La Lagune winery in Bordeaux.

Jaboulet Côtes-du-Rhône Parallèle 45 adopts the name of the 45th parallel North, a parallel that passes two kilometres from the winery. The wine has been made under this name since 1950.

Jaboulet Côtes-du-Rhône Parallèle 45 comes from vineyards that are 25 years old and planted in clayey and calcareous soils. It is vinified following the traditional methodology, and 80% of the wine ages for a few months in stainless steel tanks and the rest in large old oak tubs.

Jaboulet Côtes-du-Rhône Parallèle 45 2020 is a wine with floral and spicy aromas, and those of red fruit. An intense and pleasant wine.
2016 Jaboulet Côtes-du-Rhône Parallèle 45 2016 is an intense, elegant wine with red fruit and spicy notes. On the palate it is structured, with spicy notes returning and notes of ageing appearing.
