About Jasci Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Jasci Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is an organic red wine made by Jasci with the Montepulciano variety in the DOC Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, in the Abruzzo region (Italy).

The Jasci winery has a long family tradition in the municipality of Vasto and their creations are very closely linked to their love of their land. The latest family member, Sebastiano Jasci, decided to go one step further and converted the entire estate to organic in order to reflect the fertility and richness of the ancient high quality soils.

Jasci Montepulciano d'Abruzzo comes from a vineyard planted at an altitude of 200 to 300 metres above sea level. The vines are cultivated using organic agriculture without the use of chemicals and the grapes are harvested by hand at the optimum point of ripeness.

Once the Jasci Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes reach the winery, they are vinified at a controlled temperature of 25°C and undergo a minimum maceration of 15 days. The wine is then aged for 6 months in oak barrels.

Jasci Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is one of the flagship wines from a pioneering winery in Italy in producing organic wines. A fantastic red whose tannins balance perfectly with the ripe fruit.

Jasci Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2018 is a succulent red wine brimming with aromas of dark fruit and copious hints of licorice. On the palate, it is vibrant, velvety, and delectable. This captivating wine exhibits invigorating acidity and tannins that harmonize through to the finish.
