Jean Leon 3055 Rosé is an organic rosé wine from the DO. Penedès crafted by Jean Leon.

This winery, located in Torrelavit (Barcelona), was established in 1964 by Jean Leon as a tribute to his remarkable life.
Jean Leon was a Spaniard from Santander who, at the age of 19, clandestinely travelled to the United States, where he initially earned his living by undertaking various jobs until he made a name for himself in mid-20th century Hollywood with the founding of the legendary restaurant La Scala, of which James Dean, a friend of Jean Leon, was the principal partner.

Jean Leon 3055 Rosé is a homage to Jean Leon's challenging beginnings in the United States, when he worked as a taxi driver and bore the badge number 3055. This wine proudly represents this early stage of a dreamer, the man behind the legend.

Jean Leon 3055 Rosé is crafted from Pinot Noir and Garnacha. The grapes are sourced from vineyards planted at an altitude of 600m.

The production of Jean Leon 3055 Rosé involves fermentation at a controlled temperature of 15ºC in stainless steel tanks for 15-20 days and a brief maceration of 12 hours with the skins in stainless steel vats.
