About Le Naturel Tinto

“Wine is not sophistication, but it is a party, it is celebration”. This is how Richi Arambarri, CEO of Vintae, defines it. In 2008, together with his brother José Miguel, he took on the family business, and taking a totally new approach, they have revolutionised the wine sector. They make wine in 15 denominations in Spain with well-known brands like Maetierra Dominum (Valles de Sadacia), Proyecto Garnachas, Winery Arts (Ribera del Queiles), Castillo de Maetierra (Valles de Sadacia), Hacienda López de Haro (Rioja), Bodega Bardos (Ribera del Duero), Matsu (Toro) and Aroa Bodegas (Navarra), and have shaken up the market with wines that reflect authenticity and closeness. One of their most pioneering achievements, Aroa Bodegas defines itself as a respectful project seeking to recover ancient agricultural practices and working only with natural products.

This is how they present Le Naturel Tinto. A wine that, as the name suggests, is totally natural. The grapes come mainly from red Grenache vines in the Yerri Valley (Navarra), the region’s highest and coolest area, on calcareous clay soils. The vines are cultivated using organic principles and biodynamic treatments and have never been treated with synthetic chemicals. After a select harvest, the wine is macerated in the winery for 5 days and, with the minimum possible intervention, ferments spontaneously with native yeasts. The wine is then gently pressed and malolactic fermentation takes place in 12,000-litre tanks, where it remains until it is bottled unfiltered, unclarified and without adding sulphites.

Made through minimum intervention and using high-altitude vines, Le Naturel Tinto is a light, fruity and beautiful wine that is great for enjoying at any time. This is an example of the expertise of a group that has managed to approach the consumer with no frills.

 

2023

Le Naturel Tinto 2023 is unveiled with a straw yellow hue and golden highlights, an unconventional shade for a red, which immediately heralds its distinctiveness. As one draws closer to its bouquet, a tapestry of aromas unfurls, revealing fresh red fruits such as strawberries and cherries, a definitive sign of its high-altitude vineyard origins. Upon the palate, this wine astonishes with its vivacity and lightness, gliding effortlessly and leaving behind a succulent and delightful sensation. Its quality and enchanting character far exceed the expectations its price point might imply.
