About Louis Jadot Petit Chablis

Louis Jadot Petit Chablis is a single-variety Chardonnay white wine from the AOC Petit Chablis region made by Louis Jadot.

Ever since Louis Jadot started out in 1859, they have been a winery that places equal importance on each and every one of their appellations, with the aim of expressing the true nature of Burgundy. The winery has its own cooperage that provides it with the best quality barrels to age its wines or ferment some of its most exclusive whites.

The Louis Jadot Petit Chablis vineyards are in Chablis, in the north of Burgundy, halfway between Dijon and Paris. It has a continental climate, with very cold winters, spring frosts and hot summers. The soils are mainly limestone, which produces a unique grape. Almost the entire region is covered with Chardonnay.

The Louis Jadot Petit Chablis ferments fully in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruitiness and freshness of the wine.

Louis Jadot Petit Chablis is a straightforward wine, with an accessible minerality and never too soft.
2016 Louis Jadot Petit Chablis 2016 is a white that offers citrus aromas mixed with touches of flint and minerals and subtle fresh herbs. On the palate it reveals a good freshness that combines pear and citrus flavours, mineral infusions, dry and crisp finishes and a aftertaste that brings back all the flavours from the first sip.
