About Manga del Brujo

Manga del Brujo is a red wine from Calatayud developed by San Gregorio, SCL, under the direction of Norrel Robertson, one of the 261 Wine Masters of the world and known as "El escocés volante".

This wine is a blend of Syrah and Grenache. The Garnacha come from old vineyards on slopes with rock and clay formations, located about 800m.

Finally, this wine is aged in barrels for about 5 months.

2020

Manga del Brujo 2020 is a robust red wine. On the nose, it is pronounced, exuding scents of dark fruit and smoky nuances. The palate experiences a robust and intricate profile, with well-integrated tannins. It's dense and well-structured, offering flavors of dark berries and cherries. The finish is extensive and lingering.
2011 Great intensity. Expansive, tasty and fruity on the palate. Fruity flavours prevail accompanied by balsamic notes. Very good, defined and integrated acidity. Round, fleshy and sweet tannins. Long and very persistent finish, with fruity and mineral notes at retro-olfaction.

Ruby red colour with violet rims. Intense and bright. Medium-high robe. Dense, tinted tears stain the glass.

High intensity. Fleshy, ripe, black fruit dominates - blackberries, blueberries and picota cherries. Spices, aromatic herbs (rosemary) and intense balsamic notes accompany the fruit along with slightly toasted touches, leaving traces of undergrowth and minerals at the end.
2009 Wine with a wide and powerful attack and an intensive, warm and silky mid palate in which the notes of fruit become outstanding along with a background of the typical notes provided by the good wood. A wine with a very expressive and surprising minerality that is perceptible all the palate long. Marked acidity and noticeable tannins. Very tasty wine with a long finish which leaves balsamic sensations and a persistent minerality.

Dark cherry colour with purple edges. Intense and bright. Good and dense tears that stain the glass.

Tasty and intense aromas, with ripe fruit in the foreground along with some elegant spicy and smoked notes, chocolate hints and intense balsamic touches provided by the wood. Its background shows hints of wet undergrowth.
2008

Wide and powerful attack. Very intensive wine with a silky and warm mid palate in which the notes of fruit take centre stage accompanied by notes provided by the good quality wood at the background. Very tasty, with a long finish.



Dark cherry colour with purple trims. Intense and bright. Good tears.



Very rich and intense aromas with ripe fruit in the foreground accompanied by strong notes of wood such as a spices, smoked, chocolate,... and a hint of balsamic.
2007

This wine is very tasty, with berries, milk and chocolate, the wine is sweet tooth. Step silky and long finish.

Nose very rich, very ripe fruit, almost marmalade, smoky and spicy with a well-integrated wood and a liqueur chocolate evident.
