Monteabellón 14 months is a red wine made by Bodegas y Viñedos Monteabellón in Nava de Roa, Ribera del Duero D.O.

Bodegas y Viñedos Monteabellón is a family winery located in the small town of Nava de Roa, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. For several generations the García family has devoted its efforts to viticulture, and taking advantage of this experience, in 2000 they decided to start producing their own wine.

Bodegas y Viñedos Monteabellón currently owns 98 hectares of vineyards, divided into different plots in the municipality of Roa de Navas. Here they have different types of soils and altitudes. All the vineyards are Tempranillo with only 5% Merlot.

Currently they also produce wines in Rueda and La Rioja.

Monteabellón 14 months is a wine made with Tempranillo from vineyards at a higher altitude, located on sandy loam soils with clay and limestone.

After a classic vinification, with 25 days of maceration, it is aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels.
