With over 150 years of history behind it, Bodegas Montecillo is one of the iconic houses of Rioja. Founded in 1870, its legacy combines respect for the vineyard, a commitment to sustainability, and a constant pursuit of quality. Through generations, they have worked hand in hand with local vintners, tending over 800 plots, primarily in Rioja Alta. This deep connection with the land, along with the technical precision and skill of their team, imparts character to each of their wines.
 
Montecillo Rosado is a delightful and modern expression of that tradition. Crafted with the tempranillo tinta and tempranillo blanca varieties—a rare grape, yet full of all the Rioja personality—it is vinified with care and advanced techniques that preserve the primary aromas to the fullest: cold maceration, free-run juice, low-temperature fermentation, and lees stirring in ovoid and conical stainless steel tanks. The result is a silky, fresh, and balanced rosé wine, brimming with vivacity.
