About Nas del Gegant Rosado

Belonging to the Conca de Barberà Denomination of Origin, Nas del Gegant Rosado is a wine made with the Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Carignan and Merlot varieties by the Escoda-Sanahuja Winery.

Joan Ramón Escoda and Mª Carmen Sanahuja lead this project, whose philosophy is based on respecting the grapes as much as possible. To do so, they began their winegrowing by pursuing the organic method, continued with biodynamic techniques and now produce natural wines without added sulphites.

A blanket of vegetation covers all the Nas del Gegant Rosado vineyards. It is the result of applying biodynamic practices. It makes it possible to maintain the humidity and the natural balance of the strain, and to make natural compounds without any chemical residue.

Once in the cellar, the grapes undergo a spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. The must is then refined for 8 months in stainless steel tanks. Nas del Gegant Rosado is bottled without filtering, and without clarifying or stabilising.

Nas del Gegant Rosado is a natural rosé wine created in the Conca De Barberà using biodynamic agriculture.
2018 Nas del Gegant Rosado 2018 is a fruity and spicy rosé wine. On the palate it is juicy, fresh and easy to drink.
