About Nicolas Mariotti Bindi Albore Blanc

After studying Law in Paris, Nicolas Mariotti Bindi made a life-altering decision: he returned to Corsica to pursue his true passion, viticulture. Nothing in his surroundings seemed to predict such an adventure. “I don't come from that world,” he admits with a smile. Nevertheless, in 2007, he crafted his first vintage, marking the beginning of a journey that would blend patience, intuition, and a profound respect for the land.

Today, Nicolas manages 15 hectares of vineyards situated on north-facing clay and limestone slopes. Each plot is cultivated independently, adhering to strict ecological principles. Tillage is kept to a minimum, the harvest is entirely manual, and the grapes are carefully destemmed, always striving to preserve the essence of the terroir.

From this meticulous work emerges Albore Blanc, a wine that speaks of the Corsican time, soil, and climate. The vinification of the vermentino variety is carried out traditionally, aged on lees for 6 months in concrete vats, while a gentle daily pumping over ensures balanced extraction. Without fining, without artifice, this is a white wine that authentically reflects the character of its land and the passion of its caretaker.

Albore Blanc is a wine that invites one to pause, to feel the minerality of its slopes, and to savour an elegant, delicate, and profound white, born from the daring of a man who listened to his true vocation.
