Nicolas Mariotti Bindi Mursaglia Rouge 2020 exhibits a vibrant ruby hue that immediately entices one to delve into its complexity. About Nicolas Mariotti Bindi Mursaglia Rouge

Córcega is renowned for its paradisiacal beaches and hiking trails, but beyond its idyllic landscapes, the island is a cradle of exceptional wines. Its vineyards, benefiting for centuries from a unique terroir and a bountiful climate, produce wines that convey the strength and authenticity of this Mediterranean land.

In Oletta, at the foot of Cap Corse, Nicolas Mariotti Bindi has traded his lawyer's robe for a winemaker's boots. After realising that law was not his true calling, he returned to his native island with the determination to devote himself to viticulture. In 2007, he produced his first harvest on 5 hectares, and since then he has tirelessly worked to expand his estate to 15 hectares, all cultivated under strict ecological criteria.

Here, the land is held in the highest regard. Ploughing is restricted to the essentials to regenerate the soil in winter and prevent erosion, while copper and sulphur treatments are minimised, never exceeding 3 kilograms per hectare per year. Every action aims to preserve the integrity of the vineyard and the terroir.

On these slopes, Mursaglia Rouge is born, a wine that reflects the intensity of its soil and the patience of its creator. The niellucciu grapes, low-yielding and cultivated without chemical products, are vinified without shortcuts. The harvest is manual, the ageing takes place in concrete vats for 24 months, without filtration or fining, allowing the wine to reveal all its finesse and soul.

Mursaglia Rouge is a call to lovers of wines with character, a testament that patience, respect for the land, and passion for authenticity can transform into something extraordinary.
