Today, the brothers Hans Michael and Andreas Nittnaus run the winery with vigour and synergy. Each has their domain: Hans Michael shapes the style and expression of the wines in the cellar, while Andreas handles sales, distribution, and representation at tastings and events. Together, they have accomplished something challenging; blending family history with innovation and international reach, while preserving the essence of Gols in every bottle.

The terroir of Gols is simply exceptional. The fertile chernozem soils, the balanced climate thanks to Lake Neusiedl, and centuries of viticulture create the perfect conditions for the grapes to develop intense aromas, freshness, and structure. Here, indigenous and classic varieties are cultivated with meticulous care in every vineyard.

An example of this craftsmanship is their Pinot Noir Selection. Cold fermentation in stainless steel, three weeks of maceration, malolactic fermentation, and twelve months of maturation in French oak barrels result in an elegant, aromatic, and balanced wine.
