About Panduro Mianes

Wine and the Mediterranean are as closely related as bees and honey. The wines made in Mallorca are gaining a better reputation every day. With more than 20 centuries of history, many winemakers are wholeheartedly dedicated to reflecting the typicity and character of its wines. These wineries champion native grapes and recover old vines to transmit the Mediterranean character and uniqueness of their island. This is how, in two vineyards in the towns of Sineu and Petra, on the island of Mallorca, the Panduro Mianes wine (formerly known as Panduro Blanco) is made. A rosé wine that reveals the intensity and personality of Mediterranean whites.

Made from Monastrell, Callet and Manto Negro grapes, Mianes comes from a 4-hectare plot of calcareous clay soils at 260 metres above sea level. The vines are grown organically without the use of chemicals that could damage the natural balance of the terroir. In the winery, a natural vinification process is carried out with direct pressing and spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts for 35 days in stainless steel tanks at less than 26°C. Finally, the Callet and Manto Negro are aged in French oak barrels for 6 months and the Monastrell in stainless steel for 6 months.

Panduro Mianes is an ideal wine for those who want to experience the nostalgia of a land. An easy drinking, intense and persuasive white wine with that tastes so much like the Mediterranean.
