About Pazo Cilleiro

Pazo Cilleiro is a white from the D.O Rías Baixas produced by the winery Pazo Cilleiro, belonging to Bodegas Muriel. This winery is a monovarietal of the grape Albariño.

The winemaking process, just like the harvest and transport to the winery are performed by traditional methods.

For production, there are a few aspects that make Pazo Cilleiro different from the majority of other wines in the D.O Rías Baixas.

This is for example, the process called debourbage is performed for a long period of time and incuding a shorter maturing period for the wine with its lees.

At the last moment, Argentinean tannins of Malbec are added to the wine moments before being botted.

The winery Pazo Cilleiro is located in the municipal of Meis, in the Val do Salnés. This forms part of tone of the most recognised groups, Bodegas Muriel, who are already exporting to more than 40 countries.
