About Adega Pedralonga Albariño

Pedralonga Albariño is a white wine from Rías Baixas produced by Francisco Alonso. This white wine is a varietal Albariño (100%).

The grapes come from vines which are more than 25 years old, planted on soils with a strong Atlantic influence.

Pedralonga comes from vines which are cultivated organically.

Malolactic fermentation is carried out with its lees, it then rests for 6-7 months.

2021

Pedralonga Albariño 2021 is an exceptional and robust white wine, exhibiting a vibrant yellow hue. Dominantly mineral, the bouquet reveals citrus notes (grapefruit), apple, and hints of dairy. On the palate, it is velvety and full-bodied, culminating in a delightful finish. It possesses a refined freshness.
2019 Pedralonga Albariño 2019 is an aromatic white wine exuding scents of white stone fruits and citrus, complemented by floral undertones and chalky nuances. On the palate, it is glyceric, vibrant, and flavorsome. It exhibits a harmonious acidity, a silky texture, and a distinctly mineral finish.
2014 Soft and smooth entry. Creamy, fresh and slightly mineral step. Good acidity. Medium-long finish.

Deep and intense yellow.

Good aromatic intensity with a presence of citrus. Lactic and herbaceous notes.

2010 Very elegant and nice wine from the Rias Baixas. Glyceric and flavourful wine, in which the creamy notes are intermingled with the touches of citrus. Its balanced acidity freshens the wine. Good long lingering finish.

Intense light yellow colour with greenish edges. Bright and clean.

Very complex aromas. The notes of white fruit and citrus are dominant along with the subtle floral hints. Nice creamy notes and a good mineral background.
2009 Wide and pleasant attack. Meaty and onctuous mid palate with the notes of citrus and herbs noticed in the nose with dairy hints. Good acidity that provides this wine with freshness. Balanced and elegant. Lingering finish.

Elegant and complex aromas. The aromas of fruit, especially citrus, stand out along with white fruit accompanyed by some light floral and dairy touches. After a while, mineral notes stand strong.
