About Petit Caus Rosat

Petit Caus Rosat is a rosé wine produced by the winery Can Ràfols dels Caus in D.O. Penedès.
The winery is located in Avinyonet del Penedès (Barcelona), right within the mountain range Massís del Garraf.
Petit Caus Rosat is a full coupage of the varieties Merlot, Tempranillo, and Syrah. The vineyards are planted on clay-calcareous soils. Their cultivation is performed using organic procedures, and no insecticides and pesticides are used.
The harvest is carried out entirely manually.
When the grapes arrive at the winery, they go through the maceration and the fermentation, each variety separately, in stainless steel deposits.

2023

Petit Caus Rosat 2023 unveils itself in an alluring salmon-pink hue, transparent and luminous. Olfactorily, it unfurls a spectrum of scents with red fruits such as raspberry taking center stage, offering a crisp and enticing bouquet. Upon tasting, its dry nature is harmonized with a subtle grace, culminating in a revitalizing and spirited experience. Its fruity profile renders it an effortlessly enjoyable rosé, suitable for any occasion.
2014 Delectable, delightful, and exceptionally crisp. Exhibits a nimble and fruity palate where red berries are prominent against a herbaceous backdrop. Culminates in an extensive and fortified finish.

Deep red with a ruby rim. Clear and luminous.

Pleasant and refreshing scents of red fruit intermingled with floral nuances. Accompanied by herbaceous tones and confectionery hints.
2011 A very fresh and fruity wine, with marked notes of fruit all along the palate. It has an excellent acidity which provides it with an immense freshness. Light, smooth and creamy mid palate with a good, very friendly finish.

Intense and bright salmon colour.

Its abundant notes of intense and mellow red fruit are nuanced by some hints of candies and subtle touches of flowers and aromatic herbs.
2010 The fruit continues to play the main role. Thanks to its excellent acidity, this sweet wine is very fresh. It has a smooth and creamy mid palate and a good finish. A cheerful, lively, fresh and tasty rosé wine.
