Radikon Oslavje is a biodynamic orange wine, made from Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc, produced under the IGT Venezia Giulia by Radikon winery, in Oslavia (Italy)
The care and importance the Radikon family gives to the vineyards is reflected in Radikon Oslavje, a completely natural wine which comes from the 12 hectares managed by the family in the hills of San Floriano, in Oslavia (Italy), very close to the Isonzo river and the Slovenian border. Under the supervision of Sasa Radikon, no chemicals are used there, to avoid the presence of pesticides on the grape skins. Otherwise, it would be impossible to carry out a quality pre-fermentative maceration, the hallmark of this house, where the grape skins and must remain in contact for 3 months.
Moreover, Radikon also stands out for its bottling, where two new features have been introduced: 75 cl bottles have been replaced by 50 cl and 1L bottles; and the neck of the bottle has been narrowed to achieve a surface-air ratio which guarantees good ageing conditions.
