About Rebeldes Blanco

When Javier Bueno, the commercial director of Wine is Social, and Josep Serra, the owner of the Serra Barceló winery, met, the connection was immediate. Two restless sommeliers with a shared goal: to create a "social wine," a venture born from over a decade of experience and passion in the wine industry.

This gave birth to Rebeldes Blanco, a wine that defies convention and expertly blends the garnacha blanca and macabeo varieties, sourced from the DO Montsant. Its production is an exercise in meticulous care and attention. The grapes are cultivated in vineyards selected with sustainable viticulture criteria, aiming to protect the vineyard's health and the fruit's quality. The harvest is done by hand, at the precise moment of ripeness, ensuring each cluster contributes its best.

After the harvest, the grapes are destemmed and gently pressed to extract a fresh, clean must. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, preserving the primary aromas and fruit freshness. Subsequently, a portion of the wine is aged in oak barrels, adding structure and elegant nuances. During maturation, the wine rests on its lees, imparting creaminess and richness on the palate, rounding off an experience that is both serious and playful, much like the creators of the project themselves.

Crisp, delicate, and full of character, Rebeldes Blanco showcases the strength of Montsant. The reflection of two rebellious spirits who decided to transform their passion into something social, authentic, and daring.
